It is 120 km away from Jaisalmer city. It was the war zone of Indo-pal war of 1965 & 1971. It is belief that goddess saved this border on 17 and 18 Nov  1965. when most of the bomb did not explode. we can see the fencing of border with permission of district authority. now B.S.F. is running this temple. On the way of tanot there is also a temple called as GHASTIALI TEMPLE.

Sam is 45 km far from Jaisalmer. There are huge sand dunes. Camel Safari is organized by travel agent in desert. This is most famous activity in jaisalmer. It take about 1 hour. Camp fire, music & dance are the attraction of safari. 

It is 15 km Away from Jaisalmer. about 180 millions year age this area was a part of sea and some trees converted into hard stone are protected as Fossil. People interested in archaeological, geographical and geological should visit this place.

It is 17 km form Jaisalmer. Kuldhara is a abandoned village in Jaisalmer. Established in 13th century. It is known as one of  the most haunted village in India. street of kuldhara are source of spooky folkers,story of ghost and paranormal activity. There is a very interesting story about this village. That is related to paliwal brahmin community and there curse. 

It is 10 km form Jaisalmer located at Jaisalmer-jodhpur highway.  War museum was established in 24 Aug 2015. It was conceived by lieutenant generals. It display war exhibits  like vehicles, guns , tanks etc. This museum have display halls, audio visual room, and a souvenir shop.
